“Just as a kumbha (pitcher) smeared with oil, a hide soaked with oil or a dakṣa (an axle) lubricated with oil become resistant and firm, so does the human body when lubricated with oil. The skin becomes beautiful, Vāta disorders are relieved, and tolerance to klēśa (hardship) and vyāyāma (physical strain) is enhanced. (…)  A person’s body accustomed to oil massage will not be afflicted with abhighāta (injury due to external trauma) or strenuous physical exertion. By regular abhyaṅga (body oil massage), a person becomes soft (to the touch) and avoids waisting, remains balavān (strong) and priya darśana (good looking), and will slow down jara (the ageing process).”

SPA SERVICES

Nourish your senses. Rest your mind.

All our Spa treatments are inspired by traditional Ayurveda principles – some of them with a modern twist - and are intended to offer a space to recharge body and mind. All stand-alone Spa Treatments can be booked on the go by our Pulse āyurveda clients and are also open to the public without prior consultation, in which case they are preceded by a short discussion to validate your choice and adapt the session to your needs. All therapies are followed by a steam bath or sauna and a relaxation time for best integration. Please note that the earlier you book the better, as we operate in an intimate setting to preserve space and confidentiality and only have limited slots available for Spa therapies.
